I am a self-taught artist and have been painting and exhibiting in New Zealand for the past 16 years. I sell my works through private sales, commissions, NZ galleries and art events. My preferred mediums are oils and acrylics on board. I handcraft my own frames and finish with either resin or archival varnish.
Recent developments have brought evolution and life to my paintings. My work combines ideas of heritage, local identity, biodiversity and sustainability. In a world of mass production, urban deserts and monoculture, the wild landscape and the vital life they sustain, now stand unique; one of the greatest pleasures of them all. Through my painting I hope to encourage you to rediscover, nurture and enjoy your own wild environments whilst taking a breath and relaxing.
