You will be building up colour from plain water to a saturated paint mix. Learn how to use just one colour to achieve different values, looking to create a seamless effect, popularly known as “ombré.

A practical guide to learning the skills needed for watercolour, with Nick Eggleston, one of our awesome resident tutors! He graduated from Chesterfield College of Art and Design and is a member of The Society of Designer Craftsmen. Nick produces amazing watercolours of English Bull Terriers and other animals. He is a master craftsman of clay, watercolour, occasionally wood carving and the art of bespoke shoemaking.
