An intimate evening of story telling through delicate song. Word playing with observations of the global pandemic and time spent in the wilderness of the Southern Alps, Tongariro National Park and the Catlin’s coastline.
Born and raised in Rotorua is singer/songwriter Trojan-John who is the creator behind “Laughing In Bedlam.” Taking up the guitar at the age of 13 and spending just under 10 years honing the craft of songwriting in Perth, Western Australia. During this time releasing two EP’s as a respected artist and captivating audiences either as solo performer or band member.
Moving home to Rotorua, New Zealand in 2016 to be closer to family saw a sabbatical taken from live performing.
2019 welcomed new EP “Lionheart” as it was time to get the feet wet again.
2020 prior to the covid19 outbreak was planned to be a break out year with a new single “Colour Me” leading the way and an introduction of a new band ensemble. In response to the pandemic and lockdown, new material surfaced with an idea to showcase a hidden gem for the public to enjoy. “Laughing In Bedlam” was born with the vision to translate artwork for a better community.
