N8VSOUL is a reggae-influenced, dub/electronic collaboration between New Zealand singer, songwriter and producer Carla Werner and Cali-Native bassist, Alison Wünderland. The pair were introduced by LA-based virtuoso Bruno Coon in the Summer of 2015 at SoCal’s highly reputed reggae festival, ‘Reggae On the Mountain’ where they played their first show together featuring ‘now’ regular drummer Rock Deadrick (Ziggy Marley), and the keys/horn genius of John McKnight (Fishbone). The pair sometimes spin off as a duo, showcasing an electronic fusion of dub, roots reggae DJ set, featuring live vocals and instrumentation.
