Summer Art School – Kabuki Mask Making Workshop

Jan 27 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

| $85

Presented by: The Artery – Art Learning Space

KABUKU means ‘to learn’ and ‘to be out of ordinary’. Learn more about Japanese culture through creating a work inspired by Kabuki. Make a mask that is inspired by Kabuki and Nihon Buyo.

Kabuki is an art of singing and dancing where performers often wear masks and outfits that are flamboyant and bizarre in a theatrical sense. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge of Japanese culture and enjoy some time with like-minded creative individuals in a warm, supportive environment.
