This full day course will teach you the basics of alcohol ink abstract painting, plus learning how to paint pots and using the inks to paint animals and birds. Students will also learn how to use alcohol inks on other objects such as planters, canisters, infusers. Each student will have a choice of two pots and a stunning bird painting in a wooden frame.
Alcohol ink is a fascinating medium that has a mind of its own. This class is designed particularly for beginners who have never used alcohol inks before. The inks have a versatility and vibrancy that when blended with pure isopropyl alcohol, create movement and beautiful abstract designs. With the addition of gold enhancements these make visually attractive pieces of art, even for beginners.
