As an artist, do you struggle to describe yourself succinctly or to hit the right price point for your work?
Creative Bay of Plenty is facilitating a half day workshop that will:
Provide you with the tools to understand how to explain and contextualise your work practice; and
Introduce you to terminology and established methods of cost pricing.
The workshop will be delivered by Liz Cooper, an independent curator. The workshop will be limited to 12 participants and aimed at those working in visual arts, craft/object, design and consultancy.
The format will include case studies and practical exercises, with participants developing their own draft artist statement and a sample cost-based price for an aspect of their work.
