DESCRIPTION:Presented by: Erin McCarthy\nJoin a fun and supportive acting workshop designed for both aspiring performers and anyone wanting to build confidence\, creativity\, and communication skills. \nThroughout the workshop\, students will take part in theatre games\, group-devised performances\, and scene work from published plays and films. They will learn how to analyse text\, understand character motivation\, and explore emotion to bring scenes to life\, while developing confidence and performance skills in a relaxed and encouraging environment. \nThe workshop is led by Erin McCarthy\, an experienced actor and Speech & Drama teacher who has worked with students across many of Auckland’s leading schools\, helping them achieve distinction in both Speech NZ and Trinity College London acting examinations. Erin is passionate about helping young people grow in confidence and discover their creativity through acting. \nParents will be invited to watch a short sharing of the students’ work at the end of each day. \nTo find out more\, please email: acting4confidence@gmail.com
