The Extravaganza Fair - 2nd March 2019

The Extravaganza Fair is a family affair: it is a free-entry, fun day out with something for everyone.

We're bringing to NZ a unique style of interesting market stalls, arts and craft, food, musical entertainment, circus shows, performers, unique-to-NZ tiny homes, including open home and kids' shows & games. We're bringing back the 'old school': join in our sack races, tug of wars & musical bean bags & be in to win prizes!

Arts, crafts and interesting market stalls - ranging from herbal remedies & natural perfumes, heaps of funky clothing including revamped & retro, fashion or bohemian, jewelery like you've never seen before - silver, beaded, fashion, bohemian!

Crystals, boho homewares, hats, hair fun, massage, our very own hipster barber shop, poi & trick stix fun, open 'Tiny Home', Blacksmith working live, before your eyes, tattoos, piercing, pipes, macrame, green stone, henna, plus more more more!!! We've got it all going on!

Kids' fun - we have cool and interactive stuff for kids - face painting, hair braiding, spray on tattoos & henna. Pedal Powered Merry go Round and Our Tropical Island Bouncy fun, plus a Trampoline bungee! Candy Floss, games and chill zones with plenty of interaction toys so parents, you can chill out, we have plenty to keep the kids busy!!!
Foodie delights served up from our Steampunk Food Truck - Dickinson's Gastronomic Emporium, Lucky's Fresh Juice Joint & Havana Coffee Works. A little 'fair' indulgence such as tasty mini doughnuts, candy floss & grannies homemade fudge, soft serve ice cream, yum!

Throughout the day we have talented musicians & performers, and kids' games with prizes up for grabs!

We are aiming to be a sustainable event. We have banned all one use plastic bottles, offering you a recycled cup for a koha, made from recycled bottles, with a Rehydration Station - in other words - free water!!! Or remember to pack your refillable water bottles! We have banned the plastic bag & plastic straw (offering paper straws if needed), using all compostable & recyclable packaging to help reduce waste. We have our very own Recycle Centre Trailer with recycle warriors on site sorting and helping you to use the correct bins. Aiming to become 'carbon neutral' by donating to tree planting charities at the end on each season.
