OPPORTUNITY: Jann Medlicott Creative Arts Award - 1 July - 31 August 2018

Awarded on behalf of the Acorn Foundation

This scholarship has been set up to enable a young creative to undertake further study in the creative arts.

This annual award valued at $2,000 is for someone undertaking or about to commence further study in preparation for a career in the creative arts. Managed by the Creative Bay of Plenty on behalf of the Acorn Foundation, applications open 1 July and close 31 August each year.

SCHOLARSHIP: TOF 2019 Singing Scholarship 

Senior Secondary School Students from the Tauranga area are now being invited to apply for the 2019 two singing scholarships providing one year of singing tuition with a reputable teacher of singing.

The first scholarship is for up to $1800 and the second is for up to $1000, tuition and fees for the scholarship recipients will be paid directly to their singing teacher upon invoice at the end of each term in 2019.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: Laneway design competition for Tauranga

ATTENTION CREATIVES!!

Expressions of interest are now being welcomed for a Tauranga laneway design competition organised by the New Zealand Institute of Architects Waikato/Bay of Plenty Branch and Tauranga Groundswell Festival of Innovation.

The Laneway will come to life during the Groundswell Festival (27 August – 2 September) and the NZIA Festival of Architecture (14 – 23 September).

The organisers of Tauranga's Laneway Design Competition are seeking ideas that will temporarily transform a Tauranga laneway into a creative, lively, safe and engaging public area.
