Presented for the first time in her hometown of Tauranga Moana\, the exhibition brings together recent and new works that explore the organic\, intricate\, and architectural forms of the natural environment. \nAlmost Touching has been developed in partnership with The Dowse Art Museum. DESCRIPTION:Presented by: The Incubator Creative Hub\nAnnouncing our second arts-inspired programme for CREATIVE COMMUNITY CINEMA\, we’re going big\, bold and blockbuster\, with 3 monthly films from August to October\, that pay homage to and celebrate\, the sublime craft of costume design. \nWith all 3 films Academy Award winners for costume design\, come join us at the Village Community Cinema for these inspiring crafty film screenings – think knitting\, crochet\, hand-sewing\, journalling\, hand-embroidery\, sketching. \nMeet new crafty friends and watch great films\, all whilst working on your latest (or stashed away) crafty project\, and supporting our independent cinema! \nCruella is a 1970s-set origin story of the infamous 101 Dalmatians villain. Set in 1970s London amidst the punk rock revolution\, the film follows Estella Miller (Emma Stone)\, an aspiring\, rebellious fashion designer orphaned in London.
