You can help them to lift the game by providing direct contact details with your board of governance, so they can get this free resource direct to them.

CREATIVE ORGANISATION: Tauranga Society of Artists
From time to time we feature a local creative organisation we think you should know a little more about. Introducing... Tauranga Society of Artists!
"The Society has been going for many years. It currently has around 200 members (membership is being updated at the moment).
We run daily sessions in different genres and all share sessions (usually with a session leader) although not with tutors. Throughout the year workshops are run, often with visiting artists, some by very experienced members. We have opportunities for members to sell their work by way of Art in the Park and on The Strand, as well as through the two exhibitions we feature each year.
The upcoming Art Expo includes the TrustPower Supreme art award, and this runs annually for five days in June. It has run for a number of years at Baycourt, before moving in 2008 to its current location at the Elizabeth St Community Centre. This has proved to be a very popular event, both with artists and visitors, and is arguably the largest current cash-and-carry expo in the BOP. Generally over 60 artists participate and each artist can enter up to 5 paintings.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: The art of giving proper credit
Have you ever held a door for a stranger and they didn’t thank you for it?
