NEWS: Secrets Revealed 

An Artist Statement Writing Workshop was held on 16 May 2018 at Creative Bay Of Plenty, presented by the director of the Tauranga Art Gallery Karl Chitham. It offered insight and useful information on writing an artist statement for a piece of artwork for a gallery or art competition, a task which many visual artists would agree can be a daunting task.  Keep an eye out for similar workshops for creatives in the future.

SPACE: NEW Creative Co-Working Space


Soma is a space for us to come together to share, learn and grow from each other in a warm creative communal environment. The space encompasses a diverse range of creativity and expression including dance, music, visual arts, electronics as well as conscious and sustainable living.

Soma is a platform to empower the individual to explore and express their gifts whilst encouraging collaboration. If you have a gift to share and would like to hold a workshop, talk or event that will encompass their values, they would love to hear from you.

WORKSHOP: FREE - Outlook for Someday Film Making Workshop

When: Thursday 31st May 2018
Where: Vector Group Youth Creatives Centre, 16 Oxford Street, Te Puke, Bay of Plenty

Vector Group Charitable Trust will host a free film making workshop for youth put on by The Outlook for Someday crew. They  welcome any youth interested in film to rock up. They welcome all from Te Puke and surrounding districts.

At least 30 workshops are planned, including 5 Kaupapa Māori film-making workshops and also new Pasifika-focused workshops.
