When: 8th - 9th June (full weekend) 10am-3pm
Where: The Artery - Art Learning Space, Historic Village, 17th Ave, Tauranga
This is a fun and experimental workshop where a variety of mediums and processes are explored. Join Emma for an experimental creative weekend to learn some of the methods she used in her recent installation 'Colourfield' at the Tauranga Art Gallery. Join Emma to explore texture, colour and form. Meet other like-minded people who enjoy experimenting with colour in the sunny Artery room. You will be working with acrylic paint, gouache and pastels to create richly-coloured works that explore organic, abstract forms. Dabble in the wonderful world of colour, using different combinations to create a small collection of finished works to take home or gift to special people in your life. Suitable for complete beginners or those with experience.

"I recently went on Emma Prill's two-day Dynamics of Colour workshop. I was a bit nervous because I thought I might not be good enough but found the whole experience both uplifting and affirming. The whole workshop was supportive, friendly and welcoming. The motivation was thoughtful and sincere and everyone worked on a number of projects at their own pace with as much or as little input as they wished. Emma was friendly, relaxed, well organised and motivating. I would LOVE to attend another one as I got so much out of it."
