An Introduction to Botanical Art with exciting hints and tips on how to capture the essence of botanical art; first with pencil and then with watercolour. Internationally acclaimed artist Jenny Coker is offering a taster afternoon for you to either extend your practice or jump in and catch the watercolour bug.
Jenny Coker planted her gorgeous city garden so that she could paint it, but now spends her days torn between her paintbrushes and gardening gloves. Don't ask her to choose which she loves more! Join Jenny as she shares highlights from her life journey and her passion for capturing home and garden delights. Discover the stories and techniques behind her botanical watercolour paintings.

If possible, please bring a white (bulb) study/desk light/lamp. You may bring a favourite botanical subject but don’t expect to create a finished work. This class is about sharing classical botanical techniques and whetting your desire to take it further.
As an extension Jenny is also offering two full Sundays to continue the process and produce stunning botanical art that could be the beginning of a lifetime of enthusiasm for the medium.
