Children’s Nga Toi Maori Workshops: Paper tole - 24 August 2019

"Nga Toi Maori Workshop for Children (7-18 years)

Workshop: 3D paper-tole art – materials supplied.

Booking required (Note: There is usually a waiting list of children who would like to attend. If you have registered but cannot attend on the day, please email mail@incubator.co.nz asap)
 
As well as an established Tauranga-based Contemporary Maori Artist, Arohanoa has her own range of streetwear and accessories – Arohanoa Artistry Ltd. In this workshop she will be teaching children the technique of paper-tole (3D) art for them to take away a final product at the end of the session. They will learn about composition and pictorial elements.
 
Please note: in order to extend this opportunity to as many families as possible we are limiting it to one free class for each child. If your child has attended a free class this year, please do not book into this class. Thank you. Arohanoa will be facilitating a series of FREE ‘Nga Toi Maori’ Workshops for Children under the age of 18 years old over the remaining year of 2019, thanks to the Creative Communities Scheme."
