Nominations are now open for up to three new members to join the Creative Bay of Plenty Board of Trustees.
The Board is responsible for overseeing the strategic and financial planning of the Trust and delivery of contracted services to the two local Councils.
“We are seeking new Board members that have an active interest in the development of the sub-regional arts and culture sector as we are heading into the next exciting chapter of the organisation’s evolution. The people we are looking for will have a strong interest in creativity and an understanding of how arts and culture contribute to community development, economic growth and mental wellbeing”, says Michelle Whitmore, Chair of Creative Bay of Plenty.
An Appointment Panel including both Mayors of the local Councils has been set up to assist Creative Bay of Plenty in choosing new Trustees. The positions are non-remunerated, for an initial appointment term of three years.
