DESCRIPTION:Presented by: Toi Tauranga Art Gallery\nJoin exhibiting artist Jaime Jenkins on Sat 12 Sep\, 12.30–2pm\, for a one-off opportunity for tamariki to create alongside the artist in a hands-on ceramic workshop. \nIncluding a guided walk-through of Jenkins’ bell installation in Almost Touching\, participants will learn simple hand-pinching techniques to make their own clay bell\, led by the artist and our beloved educator Whaea Jo. \nOnce the workshop is complete\, Jaime will glaze and fire each bell\, ready to be collected from the gallery at a later date. \nThis workshop is designed for those aged 8–12 years.
