DESCRIPTION:Presented by: Tauranga Society of Artists \nThe Tauranga Society of Artists is delighted to announce its Original Art Expo is back – taking place Thursday 16 – Sunday 19 April 2026 at the Tauranga Boys College Gymnasium cnr 14th Ave and Devonport Rd. \nFeaturing more than 500 original artworks\, the Expo is the largest event of its kind in the Bay of Plenty\, showcasing the talent of the Society’s 350+ members. \nVisitors will be treated to a vibrant display of artwork across a wide variety of styles and mediums. The Expo offers art lovers and collectors a chance to meet the artists\, enjoy live demonstrations and purchase original works\, fine art prints and cards. \nHighlights include the People’s Choice Award\, sponsored by Gordon Harris\, where visitors can vote for their favourite work and go into the draw to win an original painting; exquisite floral displays by Tauranga Floral Art; and the popular Art in Action demonstrations in oils\, acrylics\, watercolours\, and pastels. \nThe Society warmly acknowledges the generous support of sponsors Paper Plus Bethlehem and Pāpāmoa\, Gate Pā New World\, Brookfield New World\, Farmer AutoVillage\, Heartland Bank\, Palmers (Bethlehem)\, Landmark Homes\, Harrison Frames\, Bakewell Burners and Digiprint. \nOpen: 9am–5pm (Sunday until 3pm).
