My art making process involves a gathering of information, imagery, photographs and materials which inspire the creation of mixed media pieces. Each creation is a personalised world, with many symbols and mediums interacting with one another. There is usually an element of revealing and concealing of imagery and meaning in my art, as well as interactive components. This provides an intricate and captivating viewing experience with multiple meanings attached that are open to discussion and interpretation by the viewer.

A bit more about me
I have a strong passion for art, culture and community. Following my studies in Media, Communications and Fine Arts, I worked for two years at Creative Bay of Plenty as Gallery Curator and Arts Advisor. I continue working in Tauranga City Centre as the Downtown Tauranga Member Liaison and Event Coordinator, helping the city to evolve and thrive as a dynamic, collaborative and creative place. I specialise in murals and place making projects which I believe massively contribute to the heart of a city.

Commission
In 2014 I was commissioned to paint the interactive mural in Downtown Tauranga “Wings to Fly”. The mural was well received by the public, and since then I’ve been commissioned to create more public art works in the Tauranga area.
