Congratulations to Maria Kausalainen on winning the “Legacy Trust ‘Art With Purpose’ Award” design submission!
Maria Kausalainen has a Fine Arts Masters degree from the University of Arts in Helsinki, Finland and has a special interest in print making. Maria has exhibited in a number of galleries and museums internationally with work relating to the adult world “life, home, death, but from the perspective of a child”. Maria is now a resident of Tauranga.
Maria’s installation will be unveiled at the SociaLink Sector Launch on 9 August 2019. The installation will then be made available to view by the public at a later date.
Creative Bay of Plenty would like to thank all the Creatives the who entered a design submission. The concepts were of a very high calibre.
