Tauranga Opera Forum – 2020 SCHOLARSHIP for One Year’s Singing Tuition
Senior secondary school students from the Tauranga high schools’ zone are invited to apply for a 2020 SCHOLARSHIP which will provide funding towards their singing tuition.
The Prizes:
First – $1500.00
Second – $1000.00
Discretionary prize – $500.00
THE APPLICATION
Application form must be emailed by 3 August 2019 to The Secretary: scholarships@xtra.co.nz along with a Personal Statement, a Photograph and a scanned copy of the each of their two Competition songs. Entries received after 3 August 2019 will not be accepted.
In the event of too many entries for the concert we may request a video of the applicant singing their two chosen songs: this is not required at this stage.
THE SELECTION of the 2020 TOF SCHOLARSHIP winners will be made at the TOF SCHOLARSHIPS CONCERT on Thursday 15 August 2019 where applicants will sing their two self selected songs to a panel of independent judges.
