Enter your design into the Heart of Christmas Wearable Art Exhibition and you could be one of 20 artists whose creations will be exhibited in the city centre for Christmas 2019.
Inspired by Wearable Arts, this dynamic showcase of local talent will provide the public with something very different and unique in Downtown Tauranga, celebrating Christmas and art through installation.
By submitting a design to the Heart of Christmas competition, the artist agrees to create the same design for exhibition. The artist also agrees to the terms and conditions for delivery, installation and creation specifications. See below.
Artists will each receive $500 as compensation for material and labour costs. Each artist will be also be provided with a mannequin which will be the base for their creation.
This is the second year of the Heart of Christmas Wearable Art Exhibition in Downtown Tauranga and half of the designs that were displayed as part of the 2018 exhibition will again be displayed this year. This means Downtown Tauranga are seeking 10 new entries! Design entries will be judged on the 24th October and winning designs announced on the 25th October.
