This year the judges will take into consideration the number of people who have worked on a sleeve. Hopefully it will encourage groups to do more tree sleeves or people to create their own sleeve. We would really love to have 50 yarn bombed sleeves this year. Help us by encouraging friends and family who can knit, crochet and weave to create a tree.
There is also a school section 2020. Schools we would love to have you on board!
Important dates to remember
- Order dates for wool: 15 November and 30 January (these will be the days I will be purchasing the bulk of the wool)
- Installation date: Sunday 21 June
- Installation date if previous Sunday was too wet: the previous Sunday 27 June
- High tea for yarn bombers: Sunday 19 July
- Yarn Bombing Event day: Saturday 1 August
- Taking down of yarn bombing: Sunday 23 August
- Alternative date for taking down of the yarn bombing if previous Sunday was too wet: the previous Sunday 30 August
