Khailana is a 21 year old singer/songwriter from Wellington, who is now touring with the support of her band. Coming to the Jam Factory at the Historic Village, March 13th 2020.
Taking lyrical inspiration from nature, fantasy and film, she writes dark and magical pop songs. With addictive melodies and transportive lyrics which build worlds around words.
Now in 2020 the band has taken her songs to the next level with inspiration from psych-rock classics such as Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin to, in turn create lush soundscapes and sonic architecture for the characters in Khailana’s world to live in.
This combination with Pop-Fantasy lyricism and sonic world building join to catalyse an incredible experience which you’ve never heard before.
