On April 11 – 12, Greek/New Zealand born film-maker and acting coach, Vicky Yiannoutsos will teach a film acting weekend at The Incubator Creative Hub in Tauranga.
The workshop focusses on the Art of Relating, which trains actors to maximise instinctive and creative choices and bring their own personality to the screen in order to create believable characters and emotionally connected relationships. Actors, directors and writers working on screen or interested to do so, will benefit.
An award-winning director, Vicky trained at the Jeremiah Comey Acting Studios in LA in the late ‘80’s then returned to NZ where she has worked for 35 years as a producer, director, writer and acting coach. She has taught at Relativity Film School in Los Angeles, Toi Whakaari in Wellington, Auckland University, TAPAC, The Actors Programme and Unitec in Auckland.
Her company Vix Pix Productions Ltd. produces film, theatre and multi-media moving image works and trains actors, writers and directors for the screen. Vicky splits her year between NZ and Greece.
