On Saturday, 19th October, I had the privilege of attending this year’s Scholarship Concert competition run by the Tauranga Opera Forum Trust.
Tauranga City Council is upgrading Waitaha Reserve in Welcome Bay, including enhancements to the playground, basketball court, and skate park. As part of this revitalisation, TCC are seeking artists to design and paint murals on the existing skatepark walls and a new mini skate ramp, set to be installed in early 2025.
A recent collaboration has resulted in an exciting new exhibition of original art by Tauranga artists.
