The Incubator are excited to announce another opportunity for artists to submit artwork for an exhibition, and the chance for YOU to buy an original and affordable artwork to keep or give away. Here’s your Christmas shopping sorted! Can you think of a better gift than art? Neither can we! This exhibition is The Incubator’s annual fundraiser to assist them in delivering fabulous community exhibitions in 2021. Read more below to discover the T&Cs and artwork criteria. Terms and Conditions:
- Please register no later than Wednesday 25th November.
- Delivery of artwork: Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th November.
- All artwork must be for sale at $112 each and the artist will receive $100 per sold artwork, with no commission.
- Your entry will not be accepted without full payment of your entry fee: $12 per art piece. After completing your online entry, click on the payment button to be referred to another site to make payment by credit card. A ticket will be sent you via email as proof of your entry fee.
- Please note that The Incubator Creative Hub cannot ship or post any artwork.
- If you are buying a canvas, The Incubator suggests you purchase it as soon as possible, due to COVID possibly affecting supply.
- The opening launch is the 28th November and the exhibition runs to the 19th December.
- Pick up of unsold work will be on Sunday 20th or Monday 21st December.
- If possible, The Incubator encourages artists to roster on voluntarily during the exhibition to interact with your buying public!
Artwork Criteria:
- The artwork/sculpture must be no larger/smaller than 300x300mm – 12×12 inches at the outer edges INCLUDING the framing or stand.
- Any larger or smaller sizes will not be accepted.
- Maximum number of artworks per artist is 2 (no series or diptychs/triptychs).
- No flimsy hangers; hangers MUST be screw eyes or D-rings and string.
- Any works without hangers or unsafe hangers will not be accepted.
- Every art piece must have a swing tag attached with artist name and title of work
