The RVMES Announce Album Release Tour

Eclectic Auckland 4-piece band The RVMES (pronounced ‘rooms’), are hitting the road next month to celebrate the upcoming release of their sophomore album LIFETIME on Friday 19th March.

Over two weekends, the tour kicks off on release night at Auckland’s Pumphouse Theatre followed by The Butter Factory in Whangarei on the 20th March, before performing The Cabana in Napier on the 26th March and wrapping up at Tauranga’s Jam Factory on 27th March.

The RVMES’ musical style cannot be locked down by any one genre or label, a point which the band members acknowledge, saying, “We definitely like to take blending genres to the next level and have an absolute blast doing so. We love the term stir-fry to describe our ever-changing sound.”

Following on from the release of first single, catchy pop track Big Bam Boom’ at the end of last year, The RVMES now deliver the soulful, laid-back, Motown inspired groove of Gone For Days’ leading up to the release of LIFETIME. Both tracks reveal the essence of The RVMES music, rooted in a strongly diverse admiration of many varied artists over the decades, and across genres. These boys firmly claim this changing variety of sound as their own, creating an alluring blend of musical styles from slow soul blues, rock ‘n’ roll and pop, to DnB, alt indie rock, and even Middle Eastern European inspired instrumentals.

The LIFETIME album tour marks an exciting time for The RVMES boys as they return to some of their favourite locations and venues. “We’re really excited to get back out on the road to share our latest sound across the North Island.”

Join The RVMES and be a part of their celebration of the release of LIFETIME. Tickets are on sale now.
