Fund for capability building – individual arts practitioners

Applications are open for Creative NZ’s “Building Business Capability for Individual Practitioners Fund”. This fund for capability building supports individual artists to develop skills that increase career sustainability and future-proof business practice. To be eligible, you just need to be an NZ citizen or permanent resident.

You must have a track record of experience and success, demonstrated by recognition from peers or experts, achieving a degree of critical or sales success and having had specialised training or practical experience.  Up to $10,000 can be applied towards project costs, including $3,000 for capital expenditure. This could include your time and costs to engage a consultant to help grow your business expertise (eg strategic planning, business planning, exploring new audiences and markets), professional development through training courses and workshops and industry, or developing your digital skills.

Applications close on 14 October and your activities must take place within a year from 25 November. For further information click here, and if you need support making an application, email Funding & Capability advisor Annie Hill at annie@creativebop.org.nz.
