This is an introduction to how Massive Theatre Company creates theatre. These free workshops build performance skills, confidence and creativity, combining acting, improvisation and movement in a playful and supportive environment.

Participants at this workshop will learn how to make exciting performance pieces using their own stories and ideas, utilising Massive’s unique style of theatre-making. It’s not theatre as you might know it i.e. there’s no scripts, learning lines or Shakespeare. Rangatahi get to work joyfully physically, using their own stories to make compelling, dynamic theatre.

If don’t have any prior acting experience, that’s awesome, this workshop is perfect for curious beginners! People who do drama at high school or have done acting before love Massive’s work, but people who enjoy sport and physical wellbeing love our workshops too.
