
Come and learn or expand your knowledge and skills on portrait art! Learn to draw faces step by step in this special School Holiday series.
Participants will learn portrait construction, different facial expressions, how to draw faces in different angles and understanding how to draw hair. Then, they’ll put it all together to create a personal portrait or character that you can draw from memory and apply the teachings to any portrait drawn in the future.
Participants must bring their own A4 spiral bound visual diary, a pencil case with HB, H4, B2, B4, B6 pencils, a rubber and a sharpener.
Emily is a local artist that specialises in portrait art and character design. She is a qualified artist and a recently graduated art teacher, so has the talent and passion to teach rangatahi art! She is a positive, passionate, imaginative and bubbly individual and guarantees a great learning environment.
IMPORTANT: This workshop has been thoughtfully curated by the tutor to nurture their creativity, so we recommend you leave your child(ren) to enjoy it on their own and with their peers. Both the Campus and the Village have lost of spaces for you to chill and wait until the workshop is finished.
