I am an abstract artist working primarily in acrylic on canvas and I produce highly colourful, energetic abstract works. I love bright vibrant colours and I work in an expressive way using my intuition and without pre-planned ideas. My paintings usually take on a life of their own and it is usually about two thirds of the way through that I will see where a painting is heading and edit it accordingly. I love that the viewer is free to interpret my art in their own way without me necessarily imposing my ideas on them. I have no formal training but coming from a family of painters and photographers. I’ve been surrounded by art my whole life.
