Kia Ora, I am a Painter and Printmaker, and have lived in many places.

I like to create textural paintings, built with layers of varnish, giving them a translucent quality. Exploration from the micro to the macro. Layers of complex under-painting suggest tiny particles in an infinite universe.

I completed a BFA at Otago School of Art, majoring in Painting. And exhibiting throughout NZ. She was also included in ‘Seen this Century’, a book listing 100 Contemporary NZ Artists. And awarded arts residencies in Germany and Italy.

I also learnt Lithography at the Edinburgh Printmaking Studios, in Scotland, and created prints with this technique using Limestone. I have Screen Prints and Etchings too. With these works now available for sale. Now currently living in Pāpāmoa, where I have set up a studio at home, and open to viewing by appointment.
