Welcome to #CreativeBubble, your challenge for the next 4 weeks!
Let’s be honest – what better time than now to get stuck into some creativity while we’re stuck in our bubbles.
We are challenging our community to come up with a creation based on a theme. These creations can be anything… creative!
- Write/sing a song
- Perform a short play with the people in your bubble
- Paint/draw something
- Make a collage
- Write a poem
- Perform a dance
- Create a sculpture
- Film a dramatic monologue
- Bake a creative cake!
- … if it involves you being creative, we want to see it.
Then, share your creation to social media – and here’s the important part: use the hashtag #creativebubble!
We will share your posts to our social media as they come through. The post with the most likes on Facebook each week will win a prize!
(Only creatives from the Bay of Plenty are eligible to win a prize, but participation in the Creative Bubble initiative is open to ALL creatives.)
The current theme is: Change! We will release each new theme at 4pm every Friday on our Facebook & Instagram.

Terms & Conditions:
- The prize contest is open to Bay of Plenty creatives only, but participation in the Creative Bubble initiative is open to ALL creatives.
- Facebook likes are measured by combining number of likes on original post (if originally posted on Facebook) and number of likes on post shared by Creative Bay of Plenty.
- You are permitted to submit as many creations as you like.
- By participating, entrants grant Creative Bay of Plenty permission to share their entry to our Instagram and/or Facebook.
- Creative Bay of Plenty’s determination of the winners will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winners will be notified by either Facebook or Instagram.
