Are you an artist or creative that would benefit from one-on-one support with a mentor to identify what you need to do to enhance your capability?
We have successfully run our mentor programme for a number of years, with expressions of interest opening in February. Initial meetings are held in March to determine whether we have a mentor that would be a good fit for each person, after which we develop a bespoke programme of support for each mentee. We then cover the costs for a minimum of three mentoring sessions for each person on the programme over the remainder of the year.
In the past people have received support in some of the following areas:
- Planning and delivering desired outcomes
- Building confidence as an artist
- Understanding their audience and market
- Social media training
- Website development and online selling
This programme would be suitable for those that want to upskill but are unsure of where to start, or creatives that want to check they are on the right track. Those accepted for the programme will need to make a commitment to participating for its duration, including sometimes completing tasks between mentoring sessions.
