My name’s Finn Lloyd, I’m a DP/Director based in beautiful Mount Maunganui. Since studying at the New Zealand Film School in Wellington I’ve worked on hundreds of Music Videos, Action Sport films, Commercial projects and now have one feature film to my name! As someone born and raised in the Bay of Plenty, I pride myself in using a range of our stunning locations throughout my work. collaboration is hugely important to me, especially in the music video industry as that is currently my strongest passion.

I love bringing vintage elements into my work. Growing up watching 90s skateboarding videos and older films with my friends, there is always a homage present in everything I create.

While Videography/Filmmaking is primarily my full time job, It’s never stopped being a hobby. I will always take the challenge to try a new style, a new subject or to work with a new team. Outside of this I love to make music as a guitarist/vocalist and a ‘tinkerer’ on many other instruments. I love to skate, ride mountain bikes and when the adrenaline wears off, I sit down with a pen and paper to try and improve my script writing skills.

I own a decent amount of equipment to cover all aspects of my filmmaking style.
