Concert Band Workshop and Mini Concert
Presented by: Katikati Concert Band
Katikati Concert Band is running a workshop for wind instrument players (woodwind, brass and percussion) which is designed as a fun-filled day of playing with a group of like-minded musicians. It is also aimed at those who wish to experience the world of concert bands, and to challenge themselves by learning new pieces of music.
Registration Fee: FREE
Skill Level: Players MUST be able to read music.
Parents/Guardians: For players 16 years-old (or under), parents/guardians must register on their behalf.

Bohemian Rhapsody (by Queen)
Programme:
10.00 : Registration Opens
10.30 : Rehearsal 1 – All
12.00 : Lunch Break (light snacks will be provided, but players are welcome to BYO)
13.00 : Sectional Rehearsal : Woodwind / Brass / Percussion
14.00 : Rehearsal 2 – All
15.00 : Afternoon Tea Break
15.30 : Mini Concert (FREE)
16.00 : Close
Music: Music parts will be emailed to players when they register.
Players must provide:
– their own instrument
– music stand
– printed music sheets (or tablet)
(Percussion Players only): We will contact you regarding availability of percussion instruments.
Mini Concert & Raffle:
Public and family and friends of players are welcome to attend the FREE mini concert at closing.
Players and audience are also invited to purchase “Grocery Hamper” raffle tickets at $2 each (or $5 for three).
Raffle will be drawn at closing. Claimant must be present.
