- Producer, Director, Dramaturg
Kia ora! I am an established producer and an emerging director and dramaturg. I’ve been practising in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland for the past 6 years and have recently moved to the Bay of Plenty. I am the co-founder and lead producer of Hand Pulled Collective, as well as an independent producer for theatre, dance, comedy, and events. In my spare time, I like to make very detailed spreadsheets.
Making new, innovative, and meaningful theatre is my passion. As a producer, my focus is on stories that bring us together and help us understand the world we live in. I have professional experience in fundraising, events, non-profits, arts accessibility, development, and premiering new NZ works. My practice is “person-first”, meaning that every project I work on is structured, supported, and approached in a way that aligns with the unique needs and goals of the creatives I’m working alongside.
My credits include: “Dani and the Age of Wonder” by Talia Pua (in development), “ANTi” by Keagan Carr Fransch (2024), Bull Rush Improv Comedy (2024), “This Room is an Island” by Yin-Chi Lee (2024), “How To Throw A Chinese Funeral” by Jill Kwan (2023), “Together Forever” by Joni Nelson (2022), and “Pork and Poll Taxes” by Talia Pua (2021).
I’m open to kōrero with creatives and organisations. Flick me a message, whether you’re looking for a producer or director, help with funding applications, want to collaborate, or just grab a kawhe and chat about mahi toi!
