I’m Alani McKenzie, a passionate creative who loves exploring the world through photography and visual storytelling. Creativity has always been a central part of who I am, I’m constantly inspired by the beauty in everyday moments, the emotions people share, and the way light and colour can transform a scene.
My main creative medium is photography, where I enjoy capturing authentic expression and atmosphere. Whether it’s portrait, landscape, or experimental work, I use my camera to tell stories and communicate ideas that words can’t always express. I also enjoy experimenting with different styles and mixed media, allowing my work to evolve and reflect my curiosity.
I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Creative Industries at Toi Ohomai Polytechnic, where I’ve developed a deeper understanding of visual arts, composition, and creative practice. Through my studies, I’ve learned to blend technical skill with personal vision, and I continue to push myself creatively in every project I take on.
Creativity gives me purpose and connection, it’s how I express myself and engage with others. I’m always eager to collaborate, learn from other artists, and explore new opportunities that allow me to grow and share my work with wider audiences.
You can connect with me for creative collaborations, photography projects, or to see more of my work. I love meeting other creatives who are passionate about storytelling, visual arts, and finding beauty in the unexpected
