I’m a painter based in Whakamārama, BOP, where I work from my home studio while raising my young son. My work usually centres around portraiture, using saturated colour and loose, gestural oil paint to explore quiet inner states and the emotions we often hold beneath outward composure.

I put painting on hold while I studied graphic design at university and then worked as a designer at a creative agency. I’m so happy to be back with a paintbrush in hand and exploring creativity away from a computer!
