Based in Tauranga, in New Zealand’s beautiful Bay of Plenty, I am a contemporary abstract landscape painter inspired by the ever-changing light, colour and atmosphere of the natural world.

Working primarily in acrylics and often with a limited colour palette, my approach is intuitive and spontaneous, allowing each painting to develop organically. I often begin with a photograph, using it as a starting point before returning to the studio to explore and reinterpret the landscape through my own perspective.

My aim is to capture the essence of a place rather than its precise details, creating a sense of depth, mood and luminosity. I am particularly drawn to the way light transforms a landscape and through my paintings, I hope to evoke a feeling of calm and connection, inviting the viewer to pause and experience a moment of quiet beauty.
