I’m Banko, an award-winning tattoo artist with 19 years of experience. Originally from Sri Lanka, I’m now based in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand, where I currently work at Art & Body Creative.

I create custom tattoos in a range of styles, including black and grey realism, portraits, Japanese-inspired work, Chicano, traditional and fine-line designs. I enjoy working with clients to turn their ideas and personal stories into individual tattoos designed to age well.

I received Best of Day and Best of Show at the 2024 Christchurch International Tattoo Expo.
