This short series is a practical guide through the fundamental skills needed for drawing, with basic exercises in perspective, light and shade, texture.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn the basics of drawing – the bones of any art form – now is the time! Nick is a professional artist with a long list of artistic talents, including drawing and making the arts accessible for absolute beginners.
Times are tough for everyone at the moment! Lots of us a short on time, as well as money. But, creativity and art are still valuable contributors to wellbeing – perhaps even more so! In light of this, Nick has made the series available as individual sessions as well, if you just want to dip your toes in without committing to all four weeks.

Nick is a long-time collaborator, tutor and resident artist of The Incubator. He graduated from Chesterfield College of Art and Design and is a member of The Society of Designer Craftsmen. While he is world renown for his amazing water colours, especially of English Bull Terriers, he is actually an artist of many disciplines. He also happens to be a master potter, a shoemaker, and of course, sketch artist.
