Tickets are now on sale for our Matariki event, Flax Fingers Weave the Moonlight, so come and join us and let the music of Flax Fingers weave a tapestry of connection with soul-stirring melodies and rhythms as we celebrate this special time of year.
Our MC is Carol Storey, a well-known Tauranga singer, songwriter and teacher, and we will be accompanied by a string quartet, flute, piano and percussion.
For this event we are offering a choice of times – 1.30pm OR 4pm and we will be providing kai to share (at no extra cost) between the two performances – you’re welcome to stay after the first one, or come early for the second.
Tickets:
– Early bird tickets are $20, available from choir members until Monday 1st July. If you don’t know a choir member, please feel free to reply to contact Lesley through tgacivicchoir@gmail.com
– Online: $20 plus $2.20 booking fee.
– Door sales will be available for $25 – cash only (no EFTPOS).
– School children are free, but need a ticket (for seating purposes).
