Hearts in Harmony – A Fundraising Event In Support Of Waipuna Hospice
Presented by: Treble in Paradise and Waipuna Hospice
Formed in February 2024 by Musical Director Andrew Braid, Treble in Paradise is a dynamic group of eight women who share a passion for performance and community. With Andrew’s extensive background in musical theatre, broadcasting and choir direction, including his work with the Patea Māori Club during the rise of Poi E, the group brings both experience and heart to the stage.
Together with special guest Wendy Coster, Hearts in Harmony will feature a feel-good selection of pop, rock, swing and disco favourites from the 70s, 80s and beyond, promising a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon filled with great music and warm harmonies.
“We have all experienced the loss of a loved one; we’ve seen suffering, we’ve all felt the pain,” says Andrew. “We cannot change the outcome of the journey, but we can make a difference to influence the outcome… ‘Hearts in Harmony’ is our way of giving back, to support Waipuna Hospice in continuing to provide quality, essential care and comfort to both patients and their families during life’s most difficult times.”
