The Tauranga Holi Colour Splash has become one of the most popular events in the Bay, inviting families and friends to enjoy a day filled with DJ music and all the epic Holi songs, Bharatanatyam, Bhangra and Bollywood dance performances, henna art, delicious Indian street food, and a fun obstacle course for children.
We have successfully created a Holi event with a spiritual depth which can be experienced by many. The greatest perfection in life lies in receiving divine bliss and mercy – all this can be directly experienced through the chanting of powerful mantras (prayers) and tossing the colours in the air to celebrate devotion and a positive outlook in life. Celebrating Holi is a perfect opportunity to feel this boundless joy! Come and be part of this incredible journey where together we create an individual, beautiful, cultural and spiritual platform where everyone feels welcome.
Attendees are encouraged to wear white or light colours and can purchase eco-friendly, non-toxic coloured powders at the event. We will continue our zero-waste revolution with Make Waste History and promote only reusable food packaging.
