Katikati Concert Band presents 2026 Concert Series 3 – Movie Music
Presented by: Katikati Concert Band
Join us on Sunday 1st November for our final concert of the year as we perform unforgettable themes from some of your favourite movies!
From the intrigue of Da Vinci’s code to a haunting melody from a missionary’s oboe; from the whimsical world of a Japanese neighbour to pulling on your leg warmers and dancing along to an iconic 80s pop hit; from the hilarious adventures of the bumbling Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau to marching to one of John Williams’ energetic score – this concert celebrates the magic and wonder of the movies!
Tickets are $10, with free entry for children under 12. Cash door sales will be available, or you can pre-purchase tickets from the Arts Junction (Main Rd, Katikati) and online at www.theartsjunction.org.nz.
To help kick off the festive season, the Rotary Club of St Johns Ellerslie, Auckland are offering some of their famous Rotary Christmas puddings for a raffle. We have four delicious puddings to give away, so be sure to purchase your raffle tickets on the day for a chance to win. Tickets are $2 each or triple your chances with three for $5. One winner will be drawn for each pudding. Proceeds from the raffle will help support the cost of hiring the concert venue.
Come along, support our talented local musicians, and enjoy an entertaining afternoon of movie spectaculars. For updates and more information visit our website at www.katikaticoncertband.co.nz or follow us on Facebook at Katikati Concert Band.
