Mixed Media Summer Vase & Flowers

Come and join Emma for an uplifting day and create your own beautiful vase and flower painting on canvas. Drawing from the flowers of summer that are in abundance, Emma will guide you step by step, beginning with the design of your vase. You will learn to layer acrylics to create an abundant ever lasting bunch of flowers. Complete your work by adding fine details with posca paint pens. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or for those with more experience. Emma will have references but feel free to bring images of flowers that inspire you as well.

All materials, as well as complimentary bubbles, tea/ coffee, provided. Please bring your lunch with you, or you can visit the cafe in the Village.

‘My flower garden artworks represent an ideal view. A window into a garden that will always be flourishing, a place to escape and rejuvenate in. I teach experimental processes using a range of materials to explore mark-making, composition, colour relationships and abstract forms. I create forms from canvas, assembling compositions to encompass vibrant colours and multi-textural forms’ – Emma Prill is a painter and art educator who holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts. She has been a long standing collaborator and contributor with The Incubator.
