Ōtūmoetai College Juniors Art Exhbition

Ōtūmoetai College is proud to present its Junior Art Exhibition, featuring work by Year 9 and 10 students, supported by The Incubator Creative Hub for the sixth-year running.
We believe it’s vital for students to have their work seen beyond the school gates – and The People’s Gallery Toi Ka Rere; offers the perfect public platform. Friends, whānau, and the wider community can easily access this remarkable mahi.
The students themselves take turns looking after the gallery in pairs over the weekends. In doing so, they develop real-world skills – learning to talk confidently about their work, engage with visitors, and build self-awareness and entrepreneurial spirit. It’s an opportunity that goes far beyond the classroom.
The exhibition includes a range of drawings, paintings, and sculptures that showcase the creativity and skills of our young artists. Each piece reflects the students’ ideas and experiments with different materials and techniques throughout the year.
We hope you enjoy this collection and celebrate the creativity of our junior students.
